Oni Soba Fujiya is a cult-favorite ramen shop that was originally loved in Tokyo’s Asakusa district and is now based in Akita, Japan. Even after relocating, long lines still form almost every day.

This packaged ramen faithfully recreates the shop’s signature bowl, “Oni Shio Ramen” – a clear yet deeply savory salt-based chicken ramen. A rich chicken soup is combined with a special shio tare (salt seasoning) made from around 30 different ingredients, creating an elegant, layered umami that goes far beyond ordinary instant noodles.

The noodles are produced using a slow, aged drying method, giving them a pleasantly firm, almost fresh texture and authentic flavor even though they are dried noodles. This is the “origin” and representative bowl of Oni Soba Fujiya, and the one most loved by regulars.

The owner-chef, comedian “HEY! Takuchan” (Takuro Fujiya), has won the New York Ramen Grand Prix three years in a row, and his creative ramen is now recognized across Japan.
