Once available only in our restaurants, AFURI’s beloved Yuzu Ratanmen can now be enjoyed at home.
A perfect balance of refreshing Japanese yuzu and the bold heat of red chili creates a soup that captivates from the very first sip. This is one of our staff’s top hidden favorites, and many overseas guests have also fallen in love with its unique taste.

Noodles
Crafted with two types of whole wheat flour of different textures, these thin noodles have a firm bite and excellent resistance to overcooking. Specially developed through countless trials, they deliver a texture and flavor you won’t find anywhere else.

Soup
・Bold Spiciness & Depth
A base of rich doubanjiang (chili bean paste) blended with red chili peppers for a powerful yet balanced heat. The robust umami makes this soup truly irresistible.

・Layered Umami from Seafood
Dried mackerel, bonito flakes, roasted flying fish, and kelp are carefully combined to create a multi-dimensional, lingering umami.

・Bright Aroma of Yuzu
Fresh yuzu juice softens the chili heat with a citrusy brightness, making each spoonful refreshing and addictive.

Toppings
Finely cut domestic yuzu peel — one of AFURI’s signature ingredients — adds a fragrant finishing touch. The peel’s cut size and amount are carefully selected for each serving.

Storage Instructions:Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Please consume promptly after opening, regardless of the expiration date.

Cooking Instructions:

Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add the noodles, and cook to your desired firmness (loosen the noodles with chopsticks as they cook).
Firm: 2 minutes / Standard: 2 minutes 30 seconds
While the noodles are cooking, mix the included soup packet with 270ml of boiling water in a bowl.
Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and place them in the bowl with the soup. Garnish with the included yuzu peel and enjoy!
Optional: Add chashu pork, boiled eggs, mizuna greens, or seaweed for an even richer experience!
