How to cook:
1 How To Make KAKE UDON (HOT)
• Prepare a large pot and plenty of water (at least 1 litter per 100g of UDON).
•Once the water 1s boled, put UDON in it and boil for 11 minutes.
•After UDON are boiled, rinse them gently with plenty of cold water for about 30 seconds.
• Warm UDON once again with hot water for about 30 seconds.
• Prepare UDON soup in a bowl in advance as below (1)).
•Put the UDON in the soup. You may add some toppings, such as chopped leek, grated ginger as you like.
2 How To Make ZARU UDON (CHILLED/COLD)
•Prepare a large pot and plenty of water (at least 1 litter per 100g of UDON).
•Once the water is boiled, put UDON in it and boil for 15 minutes.
•After UDON are boiled, rinse them gently with plenty of cold water for 30 seconds and drain the water using a strainer. Serve the UDON on a plate.
• Prepare the dipping soup for "ZARU" UDON in a mug/soup bowl as below (* (2)).
• You may add some toppings, such as chopped leek, grated ginger as you like.
•Take a small portion of UDON and dip them in the soup and eat.
•They will taste more delicious if you keep the dipping soup chilled during hot weather.
(X)How To Prepare UDON SOUP
(1) for KAKE UDON (hot soup)
One pack of "Udon Soup" stock (20ml) makes one serving. Add 160ml of hot water to the soup.
(2) for ZARU UDON (hot/chilled dipping soup)
One pack of "Udon Soup" stock (20ml) makes one serving.
Add 60ml of hot or cold water to the dipping soup. (During hot weather chilled soup is better)
