Ramenya Mitsuba is a hugely popular ramen shop in Nara where you need to get a numbered ticket and line up just to eat. Their signature bowl is a rich yet beautifully balanced pork-and-chicken shoyu ramen, now available to enjoy at home.

The soy sauce–based soup is thick and creamy, combining the bold richness of pork with the savory flavor of chicken in perfect harmony. It’s typically whipped with a hand mixer at the shop to create a light, foamy texture and silky mouthfeel—an original style that has made Mitsuba famous. The thick straight noodles are designed to pair perfectly with this rich, frothy broth, giving you a satisfying bite and a luxurious coating of soup with every strand.

Ramenya Mitsuba has earned top recognition, including:

  • Tabelog Best Ramen 2016 – Nara Prefecture #1

  • Japan Ramen Award 2016 – Nara Prefecture #1
